Repository Management
Configure group access, authorize bot users, and activate repositories.
Repository Management
After integrating your instance, you must configure which groups and repositories Peer will assist.
Group-Based License Activation
To enable your license for a specific group, log in to the Dashboard with an admin account, navigate to the group's page, and click Activate.
For security reasons, activating Peer on a parent group does not automatically activate its subgroups. Subgroups must be activated individually.
Authorize the Bot User
Before Peer can access your code, the bot must be a member of the target group or project.
- In GitLab, navigate to your Group or Project.
- Go to Manage > Members.
- Invite
deeployed-peerwith at least Developer access.
Connect Projects in Dashboard
Navigate to the Repositories page in the Deeployed Dashboard:
- Paste the Bot Token (Personal Access Token) into the designated field and Save.
- In the Repositories Management section, select the projects you wish to activate.
- Click Apply Changes.
Once completed, Peer will automatically create the necessary webhooks, and the bot will be ready to start reviewing your projects.
