Deeployed Peer

Repository Management

Configure group access, authorize bot users, and activate repositories.

Repository Management

After integrating your instance, you must configure which groups and repositories Peer will assist.

Group-Based License Activation

To enable your license for a specific group, log in to the Dashboard with an admin account, navigate to the group's page, and click Activate.

For security reasons, activating Peer on a parent group does not automatically activate its subgroups. Subgroups must be activated individually.

Authorize the Bot User

Before Peer can access your code, the bot must be a member of the target group or project.

  1. In GitLab, navigate to your Group or Project.
  2. Go to Manage > Members.
  3. Invite deeployed-peer with at least Developer access.

Connect Projects in Dashboard

Navigate to the Repositories page in the Deeployed Dashboard:

  1. Paste the Bot Token (Personal Access Token) into the designated field and Save.
  2. In the Repositories Management section, select the projects you wish to activate.
  3. Click Apply Changes.

Once completed, Peer will automatically create the necessary webhooks, and the bot will be ready to start reviewing your projects.
